St. JOSEPH’S @ OLD DOMINION: Next opponent and Jaylin Hunter plays for ODU
In the first game of his career, Jaylin Hunter played nine minutes in a close game against a solid MVC opponent in UNI and scored 9 points with 3 assists in 15 minutes today. ODU starts three guards and Hunter has been the 2nd guard off the bench. Good for him.

St. Joe's will be an interesting opponent because of their size. Due to their turnover, they basically play 7 guys, ranging from 6'4 to 6'11 while their starting lineup is 6'5, 6'6, 6'8, 6'8, 6'9. Of the 7 key guys in their rotation, their average size is 6'6.5 and 214 lbs.

I'm most curious how UConn will guard St. Joe's point guard Ryan Daley, an anticipated Delaware transfer. With an outside linebacker's size listed at 6'5 225, Ryan Daley almost got a triple-double vs. Old Dominion.

BC 74 - 60 USF

FSU 63 - 51 #6 Florida

ODU 82 - 69 St. Joes (Jaylin Hunter with 9pts 3ast off the bench)

USF will probably be a little bit better but I give them zero credit for getting 20+ wins after the CBI or whatever postseason tournament they competed in.

Florida has some new pieces and will probably be lackluster until at least 7-8 games in. Then they'll take off.

I don't really consider ODU beating St. Joes much yet. ODU has had some solid teams and is at least a decent program.

Virginia and Tony Bennett are single-handedly ruining college hoops.

Dailey did get 26 in his first game and didnt attempt a 3. He’s listed at 6’5 220 so he’s a bull and a rough matchup for us. May be Brendan Adams big chance to prove he can guard?

Daly (St Joes)had 13 rebounds and 11 assists vs Old Dominion yesterday but didn't score much. 0-5 from 3. He's a 6'5 guard who has an impact we will need to check him and body him. That makes me even more sure Adams if he's progressed will see lots of time, better size match up. The other guy Edwards had 23 with 7-9 from 3. Our defense will be tested unlike SHU Wednesday will be interesting. I know they lost to ODU but they've been very good as of late. Need to show up at every position and rebound the basketball, battle.

What do you mean they've been very good as of late? They just lost to ODU by 13, beat Bradley by 5, and are coming off a really bad losing season.

I meant ODU has been good as of late. Didn't mean St Joes at all.
