My opinion

1) I am sure this move must have been accelerated by feedback from the players (and other constituents)

2) She probably pushed back hard when asked to resign. Holly clearly has the victim mentality and the problem was every one else, not her. Plus she probably wore the most orange outfit to the meeting.

3) Fulmer said 'dont let the door hit you on the way out' and probably took away the keys to the locker room to limit any post season drama

4) That is why she did not meet with the team to say goodbye.

I don’t know why some here keep insisting the word resignation was part of the conversation from either party. Fulmer did his job by making a tough decision. I doubt he asked her to let him off the hook by resigning.
