Hines visiting tomorrow!!!

I don't get this talk that Hines fouls so much that's why he only played 18 minutes per game and this worrying about him being so foul prone. Hines never fouled out of a game. He was their most talented player by far, what exactly was Shaheen saving all these fouls for?

Hines fouled less than Reed, Clingan, Sanogo, and Reibe in their first years with the program and Clingan was the only one who contested shots like him.

People seem to forget he was a freshman. Just a normal improvement trajectory and he looks pretty damn good.

Just watched some videos of Najai Hines and he's an interesting player.

Wide body player with good strength and long wingspan.

He looks much quicker off his feet and laterally than I expected.

If Hines commits to us, two years under our program will do wonders.

Reminds me a bit of Syracuse's Etan Thomas.

Even better with 3 years right? Tarris was a man among boys quite often I have no doubt this kid can be that same guy, wider as well. Here’s hoping the Trilly rumors are correct don’t want him to meet Pitino.

.-.
We got him.
Jack Nicholson Yes GIF

If he takes that visit, it doesn’t bode well for good guys. Let’s hope it doesn’t get to that.
If we lose him any chance of getting Diop? Even if we lose Freeman any chance of getting both Hines and Diop (split time)?

Kepnang would be a great practice partner/mentor for Hines. Hope Danny can make that happen.

A Hines/McKeever center would be a dream, but I'd assume McKeever is searching for a starting gig.

If Reibe doesn't come back, a defensive-minded center like Yale's Samson Aletan or Charleston's Chol Machot would be a nice fit. Both guys are super switchable on defense and are excellent shot-blockers. He's skinny, but Machot has some stretch to his game too.

Another idea, replace Reibe as the backup center with another German, BU's Ben Defty. The seven-footer ranks as the team's best defender and finished his sophomore season averaging 15p, 7r and a pair of assists and blocks apiece. He's another guy who could earn a starting job, though.
Speaking of Machot:
