They weren't relying on anything but a fair officiated game. LeBron had been hand checking the whole game, which is illegal by the way now in today's NBA. If the Heat win the title it won't be because they deserve it. From the first round till now they've had the refs in their back pockets. Perhaps thats the only way they CAN win a title.

So bitter. Durant shouldn't have been in that position because he fouled out on that terrible blocking call on Battier. The officiating was not one sided tonight, it was pretty even. I know calls that go against Miami don't matter to JaYnyce, but they do to the rest of us

You deserve to be hanged for saying that about Battier. He was sliding. And even if he wasn't, shame on you for ever taking his side.

It wasn't the calls that cost the Thunder it was that Thunderously pathetic start 18-2.I am a Thunder rooter, but calls happen, but when you dig a whole like that only bad can come from it. Bosch had 15 rebounds, and Perkins cannot handle Battier on the wing. There will be adjustments. I still think Thunder in 6

So if you hack a player but start backing away thats ok? Check the replay again, LeBron clearly has his hands on Westbrook and not the ball. A little body contact sure, thats a no big deal. But his hands on his wrist? Come on!

Sorry dude, but you're crying about a boderline touch foul (a long way from a hack) on a game deciding play. I ain't buying it.

battier moved at least one foot, if not both feet, after Durant had left the floor. By definition that is a block. You could tell Battier was pissed at himself because he could have been set, but wasn't. It's like when a guy times a block shot perfectly, but misses the ball when he goes for the swat. You sit there thinking how the hell did he not block that shot.

Overall there were bad calls both ways, but the refs were in favor of the heat in this particular game. I'm not saying the heat will be favored in all games, but the league will make sure this series goes at least 6 and probably 7. If the Heat win the 1st two games in Miami, than there is no way the league is gonna let the series end in 5.

Battier's "defense" is disgraceful. Whatever offseason rule changes are made to stem the flopping epidemic should be named after him.

Dude, just stop. By posting this you're pi**ing away any credibility you might have had left on this board (which isn't much). The Heat are a great team, they have great players. LeBron James and Dwyane Wade are probably five of the best players in the world. Chris Bosh is probably top 25. They came through with a great effort last night because they had to. They didn't want to go back to Miami down 0-2, and they played more desperately than the Thunder.

The no call at the end sucked. I've already said as much. But the conspiracy bull has got to stop. It just makes you sound like a pitiful, sore loser. This was far from Lakers-Kings. The free throw disparity was 26-25, if I'm remembering correctly, in favor of the Thunder. Stop pi**ing and moaning and look forward to game three. I just don't understand people like you...you're watching some of the best basketball you'll ever see in this series, but yet all you can focus on is your pitiful bitterness towards certain players. Enjoy the brilliance of Kevin Durant and LeBron James and stop complaining. That's the best advice I can give you.

It was a bad missed call at the end (James fouled Durant) but the game was lost in the first five minutes while the Thunder were sleep walking.
DWade and LBJ are much more skilled at playing physical defense without fouling and also much more skilled at drawing fouls than KD or Westbrook. This does end up being a very strong advantage...NBA refs reward fast, powerful players who are acknowledged superstars.

Battier (or Floppier if you prefer) has been shooting out of his mind but he has also been given several silly charges...the Dook stench is nauseating!

They're not a great team, they just have 2 of the top 5 players in the World and another really good player supporting them. It's kind of hard to beat a "team" with two players who historically get every damn call and hardly any calls against them. Wade shoved Rip during their regular season matchup. No call. It's disgusting.

I watched last nights game again and to be fair LeBron and Wade did get mugged a few times when they got to the rim. Doesn't excuse the travesty that happened at the end of the game, but it does show consistency on how blind these officials are. There is a ref that works at ESPN who just retired after a long career in the NBA who said that the ref was out of position for that LeBron/Durant play.

I didn't watch enough to know who was and who wasn't getting calls but I doubt there was any obvious lean. It's just the NBA, phantom fouls are often, travels are prevalent and people hammering each other with no calls is typical. How can you be a consistent referee when there are no rules? Not their fault it's just an epidemic!!

It's disgusting? No call? That was called a Flagrant 1. You dont even have the slightest idea what you're talking about - you're just making things up.

Just so we're clear, JaYnYcE doesn't like the Heat, right?

My mistake that was a flagrant 1. In the heat of the moment I forgot that detail.

Carry on.

Not so much the Heat, more so that he wishes he was LeBron but can't handle the fact that he isn't so he hates on LeBron and thus whoever he plays for.

I've hated the Heat ever since Riley left NY to go to Miami. Miami has always been a rivalry.

And no, I don't want to be LeBron James. Thanks for mentioning me in the same breath as the best player in the NBA. That's high praise!
