So is tip-off at 6:30ish? Just making sure

yep...opening salvo - it's all about the dunk...hey, it's pretty impressive

and both Kara and Carolyn are picking ND. Don't care. UConn's still playing with house money.

Go Huskies!

Can't do anything about how someone else thinks.....

Jusst got back from the casino where I played a slots game called Lucky Luigi. Luigi wasn't too lucky for me--not too bad, but not too lucky. Hope he's luckier for the players!

How do you not lose your minds during these pre game shows?

The Baylor coach has 'strong sleeves' and then we get a 40-second fashion montage designed, I guess, to show us her sleeves.

(edit: It got worse. They were setting up a segment where the Baylor coach aw-shuckes her way through an interview about her outfits. Screw it - I'll tune back in for the game.)

Once they've covered the basics of the rivalries, they gotta say something, I guess. And Mulkey's outfits are as good as anything.

Guess Geno's hair will be next. :)

Can you imagine ESPN interviewing Calhoun or Coach K about their clothes? Kim Mulkey needs to develop a death stare for reporters that ask her stupid questions.

FYI:

ESPN W chat

Charlie Creme, Kate Fagan, Graham Hays, Michelle Smith and Mechelle Voepel [will be] chatting throughout tonight's national semifinal games, beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET.

I was just disgusted with that.. Way to feed into the "it's just women's basketball" BS ESPN

LOL - I like it when they get creative and show the girls dancing or speaking about themselves or the coaches...Would love them to do a bit about CD and stay away from fashion statements

I refuse to believe that she doesn't know "designers" or "fashion". She strikes me as a control-freak type (per a very enlightening article in the Dallas Morning News, LINK)

That is the epitome of small-town Texas style.

Strange, but even odder is KM repeatedly referring to herself ("Kim") in 3rd person?

On the positive side of those interviews, it's hard not to like those O Sisters. NNeka is thoughtful, classy and Chiney is a lovable goofball!
