Bonpland, please entertain the possibility that Sonny was being facetious. Note the rolleyes emoticon following the once-inconceivable notion that any Lady Vol win would be a "colossal upset."

A perhaps equally indicative factor is that Sonny is quite capable of administering the occasional sly needle.

Now is when I ask, "What is an emoticon?" Afterwhich my children say, "He's not my father."

I guess if Coach K can start to pay attention to funny faces and flexed biceps I can find a way to do the same.

Thanks JS for dragging me into the new century. Soon I'll learn how to use the other features that my computer offers, and not just have three stops; email, Wikipedia, and the Boneyard.

Click on the smiley face on the bar right above the box where you type your post and you, too, can be an emoticon-er. BTW, emoticon = emoji, which is the more up to date term.

Sonny, Let me apologize for doubting you. The Vols didn't win, but their effort surprised the heck out of me.

Yes, I have to admit I was hoping for a big "I told you so" to the yard, but I'm not surprised they couldn't make it happen.
