Brass, no kids have SIGNED: they have given oral commitments (not binding), but signatures on dotted lines aren't official until received on National Signing Day in February. But, you knew that. While it's not the fault of the kids who have signed already, is there really anyone in the current incoming class who's so good we can't let them go? I don't follow recruiting much at all, but the bits and pieces I did see indicated we were singing guys whose other options were essentially FCS schools or UMass.
If an individual is not even a signed and compensated employee of an organization, can he receive a call and speak with the caller?I though coaches were not allowed to talk to any recruits during the blackout period. Did Randy just admit to a violation
When listening to Crazy Bob's pressers, it was more like Diacobabble!Diacobacle
At least he's planning on watching tape from last year at some point, unlike Diaco who didn't think anything that happened when he wasn't coach was relevant
...if a player contacts a coach/school, they are allowed to talk.

Yeah, wrong verbiage. I meant committed.Brass, no kids have SIGNED: they have given oral commitments (not binding), but signatures on dotted lines aren't official until received on National Signing Day in February. But, you knew that.
Shades? Ha. You obviously did not notice the manger and the three wise man walking though the door. Can someone shut the shades?
I had completely forgotten about that! Holy crap, that guy was such a spaz...
LOL!!Shades? Ha. You obviously did not notice the manger and the three wise man walking though the door.
He's not the head coach yet?I was very concerned about his answer. Its in the middle of the dead period and he said he talked to recruits?
Easy to believe it is genuine. While I am sure he did not regret leaving for his dream job, at the time, few would want to leave the way he did.Undoubtedly, genuine, sincere emotion, specifically stated "regret", absolute direct apology, and entirely clear and appropriate focus on the future. How reasonable, relatively mature individuals could expect anymore would be challenging to comprehend. Moving onward, and upward.
Go UCONN!
crap... he's got a process
Okay. At this point, there is no way this doesn't become a thing.
Good point, can't stop a normal guy from speaking to recruits. He's not the head coach yet?
but no ADD ok?Okay. At this point, there is no way this doesn't become a thing.
I know AD David Benedict is so much easier to type, but compared to "Athletic Director Dave?" No contest!!!
You know the old saying... a Hyundai on the road is better than a Ferrari in the garage. That's his dream car.
He also said this will be on going and will receive immediate attention. He said things moved "fast", the holidays and you only have so much time. Not worried. If I'm a current commit and he hasn't called me yet, I'm a ittle concerned by his answer about recruits
