Have we heard anything re Jaylin? I know there’s media availability later so we might hear more but I would have expected some sort of update over the past few days.

Could use all hands on deck here tomorrow.

You’re never going to get a spontaneous update before the press availability.

And I imagine that we’re only going to get some vague game time decision update today.

I suspect they know what his status is, but gamesmanship wins out.

With "inflammation " lasting that long??? Not... only if he's torn meniscus or poss MCL tear! I'm doubtful for his return! Joe C PT
Hope to be wrong🙏🙏

I say don't risk him against MSU and save him in the event that we happen to end up in an Elite 8 vs Johns on Sunday, where he will need to play no matter what.

If you think Hurley is going to give any information other than that which confuses opponents, you haven't been paying attention for the past 5 years.

Player definitely out? game time decision. now they have to gameplan twice
Player definitely playing? let them keep wondering whether he is questionable

No players injured? Say some shit like "oh we're considering a two big lineup" or "going 5 out".

Hurley is a master of this.

Save him? There's no saving now. You're just trying to survive and advance. He hasn't played in almost 5 weeks. I highly doubt 2 more days at this point is going to help him. He's either ready to play tomorrow or he isn't.

Hmmm… I’m hoping we are in a position where “not risking him” is a clear option. If he can play, though, I’d imagine we will absolutely need him. MSU is very good and coached by one of the best that’s ever done it.

This was after UCLA, they're currently speaking with media now so we'll probably hear something soon

Fair point! But if I had to choose between having him play vs MSU or a potential St Johns, I would opt for the latter.

And you’d want to get him a little run here to have some game action for that one. With you.

I get what you are saying, but tomorrow is never guaranteed today. The Elite 8 is not guaranteed. If Jaylin can play against Michigan State, he should play.

On Monday 3/23 Hurley did an interview with Adam Schein on SiriusXM (its on demand if you're a subscriber) and it sounded like Stewart's playing, here's the quote:

"...and getting Silas back even though he was limited and getting Stewart back this week I think we're going to be coming in pretty strong and confident into DC."

The quote was around 2 hours and 13 minutes into the episode.

But you don't get to choose. Win tomorrow or there is no game on Sunday. It's pretty simple.
