With the way he’s been playing, Hass’s role is clearly as a 6th man off the bench…

And driving the ball from the wing. He is a scorer more than a pure shooter. Nowell must sill have issues with his shoulder or I'm sure Hurley would have him based on his earlier words on finding him time. I hope he heals up 100%. Do we know which shoulder it is?Nowell needs to be Diarra’s backup. Hopefully, that is reality by the end of January. I want Mahaney shooting the ball from the wing, that’s his talent.
What are you talking about Willis? He needs to start as he has been great. With the way he’s been playing, Hass’s role is clearly as a 6th man off the bench…

I'm not familiar with that one. I just know LOL and jk Ok it means sarcasm. That is a new one as I have never noticed it before. I'm 55 now so I'm not current on the new lingo.Hint: /s
I’m 74. Didn’t know its meaning until a couple of days ago after seeing it in a different thread and looking it up. Figured I’d help out a fellow Boneyarder. Especially one who used the line “What U talkin bout Willis.” Not many young uns will get that reference.I'm not familiar with that one. I just know LOL and jk Ok it means sarcasm. There's no need for a silly but here.Diarra is a good player, but UConn has an offense that pads assist stats.
Minor point but significant given the pressure Aidan faced while Hass was on the bench. 1TO. Solid performance for him that will help build trust between him and the staff. Will need him as an occasional secondary ball handler while Liam recovers.During this injury stretch and I hope it’s one game but fear more, our guards are going to have to pick up the slack. Call me crazy but I saw a spark from Mahaney the other day. 16 minutes he drove to the basket aggressively and scored 7 points but had 4 assists.
That is quite good. 4 fouls guarding them but as a team they nearly tripled us at the line.
I believe he’s starting to understand the intensity required to play in this conference. We will have to live with the defense but it should improve.
He missed all of his 3 point attempts but don’t expect that to continue.
Hass and Mahaney will have to do more in scoring, but Hurley believes that his experience will be vital in an NCAA run and he is building toward that which is why Nowell is unlikely to take his minutes. Big picture.
I hope he is starting to understand the pace and style of the offense. Can’t have it come to a halt when he comes in.Minor point but significant given the pressure Aidan faced while Hass was on the bench. 1TO. Mahaney has had his best offensive games when he's driving to the basket. Not sure where people get the idea he's a shooter only.Nowell needs to be Diarra’s backup. Hopefully, that is reality by the end of January. I want Mahaney shooting the ball from the wing, that’s his talent.
He’s got good change of speed and hesi’s, but he overall isn’t super quick and obviously isn’t that strong. He ideally would be off ball a ton more for us, but Hurley doesn’t seems to trust Nowell so he is the only other real PG option.Mahaney has had his best offensive games when he's driving to the basket. Not sure where people get the idea he's a shooter only.
Who’s better at defense? The Maginot Line during WW2 or Solo Ball? Also per Evan Miya
