Perhaps because we were part of the Big East Conference, the ban from the NCAA was absolutely unjust (double jeopardy is proscribed in our legal system but only in the mind of the corrupt NCAA was it okay to use to screw over UConn and Coach Calhoun), and our Big East colleagues would want to soften the injustice or our situation unsteady of piling on to an extremely unjust situation?Realistically though why would they have allowed us? There was a remote chance that a school without any chance of an at large bid could've won and gone dancing.
