So presumably floaters are signs of fraying of what attaches the retina?Floaters are ok, until they turn into a swarm of bees, or you start seeing flashes or veiling.

If you have floaters make an appointment with retina specialists and get scans.

Yes. That’s what happened to my right eye. But there is nothing they can do until you are detached. Sometimes it moves slower and sometimes not. I was on an island and couldn’t get to a doctor until the next day. I had one retinal specialist laser one eye prophylactically and that was the first one to detach. I still believe he made it worse. I think the doc I had at the time was just trigger happy and past his prime.Interesting. They told me after the lasers would have been potentially prophylactic - but if you told me they say that to drive claim payments I wouldn’t be surprised.
