I couldn't watch the game. How's Hartley looking? I looked at the boxscore and there didn't seem to be a lot going on with her.

she looked fine - very composed. In this game, her role was more of the "band leader" or "expediter", rather than "lead violin", if you will. No worries.

She made one amazing drive, past several defenders with a hand switch and an underhanded layup at the end. The (admittedly biased) announcers made comments about "another gear". I don't think she has any physical problems, and I suspect that her so-what stats for the game reflect unselfishness more than anything else (giving less experienced players a chance to make most of the plays).

Bria is playing like the 2011/2012 version........UCONN has 4 AA on this team..........

She looks to me like she has more arc on her shot. In past years she had more of a line drive (flat) shot. She missed two threes but in general she looked real good.

This team is going to be amazing this year. They literally have 9 players who can score in double digits on any given night. This is why some nights we will see one player get 20, and then the next game, only score 4. Who would have predicted Mo Jeff as the top scorer in game 1??!!

I'm really glad to hear about the slight arc on the shot. That bodes well, and if she gets her shot back it will be yet another piece of our wonderful puzzle.
