As always, enduring and heartfelt appreciation from Barbara and from me; for many decades, we've seldom missed the opportunity to extend a handshake and a word of appreciation to someone in uniform or wearing a veterans cap. God Bless You and your families.

A big THANK YOU to all our veterans, past and those presently serving.

Our family has a history of veterans. Both my father and father-in-law served in the Navy in WWII. Also several uncles who served in WWII.

Today, our youngest son serves in the U.S. Navy as a submariner. Yes, we are proud Navy Parents!!!!!!!!!

Fair winds and calm seas to all.

Thank you to all the veterans and those currently serving.

To the bittersweet memory of my squad, good men.

3rd squad, 2nd platoon, Company C, 1/502 Infantry, 101st Airborne Division
Vietnam, Sept. 1969-Sept. 1970

It is amazing that men and women of this generation volunteer for such duty.

Happy Veteran's Day to all!

My great-uncle served in the Army for a few years, and my grandfather was on base in Alaska during the Korean War.

Thank you to all the men and women who have continued to defend our country for so many years.
