OT: Happy National French Fries Day

The poorest excuse for fries have to be those from Steak and Shake. They are of the thin variety.... and those bastids get stale after about 2 minutes. 
I always get them to go... and I eat them in the car on the ride home because I know by the time I get home.... they will be no use of eating them. And to top it off... they seldom put salt on them. 
I will give them credit for one thing... they do give you the option to get seasonings on them for 29 cent extra..... I am partial to the Parmeasan Herbs and Cheese.... they also have the Salt and Vinegar, and Sea Salt and Black Pepper.
I tried that today, and I was pleasantly surprised. The combination of saltiness, grease, and chocolate went well together. Public service announcement.... Small frosties are 50 cents for a limited time at your local Wendys.
