June 3rd is national donut day.

For me it's the blueberry sour cream donuts from a couple of different mom and pop locations nearby. A true gut bomb.

We have a donut buying guidance at my work which lists reasons for needing to bring in donuts- got married, got divorced, had a kid, bought a car or boat, sold a car or boat, etc. Without fail anything with white powder or coconut will be last donut in the box.

Not if one hates coconut. I eat pretty much anything. But the only way coconut makes it past my lips is as milk form in a curry.

And as far as powdered donuts go, are we including pączki? Because those are awesome. Unless there's coconut involved.

The coconut jelly stick found only in Rhode Island and some border towns are very good.

Frosting (cream) filled donuts are disgusting.

Powdered donuts from donut shops suck. Even Hostess does them better.
