I like Bridges a lot, but Michael Porter is special. It just sucks that someone non-deserving like Huerter makes the team over someone like Bridges or of similar talent, simply because he's Turgeon's commit.
 
Porter is going to be a very good college player with a bright future

They have been pretty good about putting players in the NBA over the last few years.

Sure, but if you have 12 spots on the roster you can take two elite sf's. I havent even heard of james banks.
 
Although I'm not sure how hard were recruiting him, Wilks also made the team.
 
It's possible they cut bridges to free up his summer before college, they could have reached out and asked him to participate in the camp and that's it. He is clearly a cut above some guys like diallo , the Maryland commit, and pj Washington... Mainly because of experience.

I love it. I always found it odd that he kind of dismisses UConn when it's brought up in those recruiting interviews, but if his intention is to just keep it a surprise he's doing a damn good job lol

He definitely is. I was just taken back about how confident they were. They were talking as if it were a done deal already. They convinced me

A guy who assistant coaches Hamidou told me there is no chance he ends up at UCONN (this was from last week). Lets hope you are right.
