Not hearing good news. This early afternoon hearing a flood of uk talk. He has not told the staff no but it looks slim

I heard an interview where Calipari said if he goes to visit a recruit and they disrespect a parent or grandparent etc., he doesn't want them. I call BS but even assuming what he said is accurate, Calipari obviously has no problem disrespecting all other coaches, programs and kids that don't go to Kentucky. Some of his quotes are ridiculously pompous and condescending. Pot meet kettle.

Thanks for this, the rest of these optimists were beginning to get my hopes up.

Why keep the staff in limbo if he's already chosen UK?

So he is telling others (flood) what he is doing but not the UConn staff?....nice on his part if true.

Simple. Greater impact at the hat grab . He seems to like the attention machine . No harm there.
Exactly, he's kept his entire recruitment quiet up until now. No reason to change that now and risk last minute leak

So basically all the third party 'insider' guys are saying UK and all of the second party guys like Oz and the players are indicating we should be more hopeful.

Then again, somebody mentioned the other day that if KO is in the dark then so would Oz (and probably the players, by extension).

I wouldn't be surprised if the players and coaches legitimately didn't know. Then again, you could probably say the same about the Meyer types. I guess it's a matter of who you trust more.

So my question is who has he told it's UK. I know no one can answer that but just a thought

If anybody, probably the people closest to him, like family (or handlers if he chooses UK). Hence the quote from one of the insiders about "somebody close to him" saying it's UK.

I'll give the kid credit. He's played the game well. Usually there are only a couple recruitments a year I find myself getting wrapped up in and this is one of them.

That's the thing.. the only people who KNOW are hami and his family. He's been hunkered down in NYC for a while.

He has no incentive to tell anyone in the press, especially these last few days. Nothing has changed. It can go either way.

When they say "someone close to him" they're using hyperbole. No, his third cousins former AAU assistant coach is NOT a close source, jerry.
