Guess who’s the Big East freshman of the week

So after we got home from the game we put on the Creighton-Nova game last night and one of the announcers started touting how good Jasmine Bascoe has been this year and is the best freshman in the conference and one of the better freshman in the coutry, and immediately the other announce said “ you mean other than Sarah Strong, right?”, which then prompted the awkward recovery comment of “yeah, of course as Sarah Strong is the likely favorite for the National FOY”… I was bemused by the exchange but also think Bascoe has had a great freshman year….

I think there’s a few really good freshmen in the Big East this year. This bodes well for the future, assuming they don’t transfer out.
