Hmmmm... And GT is playing where in a few years?
I get the different situation, but both are leaving the Big East.

I don't think the Catholics would be leaving if Cuse and Pitt were still in the BE.

That sign is hilarious. Love it.

Pitt and Syracuse wouldn't be leaving if WVU, BC, Miami, and VT never left.

And around and round we go!!!!!

Slight correction, WVU left after those two, but the point remains the same.

Unfortunately, Miami always would have left. The rest I can buy wanting to stay. Maybe not Virginia Tech.

Perhaps, but the fatal blow to the BE was Pitt and Cuse leaving. The whole image of the league was changed from that point on.

There was a lot of leaving. I understand all the rational. Don't fault a single university looking out for numero uno. But the thing that upset me the most was that Pitt was in the chair position and nixed the ESPN offer at about the same time they were approached by the ACC. Georgetown and ND nixed it as well. ND's vote bothered me because they should never have been allowed to have this power as a partial member. Georgetown's vote isn't suspicious in my mind. But Pitt. No way to prove collusion and most likely there was none. But the action of that university leaves a bitter taste with me! More so than BCU's act to stop UConn from getting into the ACC.
