Stealing this from ZLS on Facebook.

From ESPN: LINK

"Taylor was 52-of-108 from the floor and drained 27-of-71 3-pointers."

That's a season for a lot of guys.

% is nothing special. just hogged at the begining of the game and the rest of the team went along with it making it a kobe thing.

And I thought Faith Baptist Bible had a good squad this year.

Heat check?

Numbers: That's a shot every 22 seconds of the game and a three point attempt every 33 seconds. Almost 3 shots and 2 threes per minute for 40 minutes. I'm guessing there were no shot clock violations. I'm also guessing he used a lot of ice after the game.

I hate this kid already. When he starts playing in rec leagues and at the local gyms he is going to be a teamate

108 attempts wtf and 71 3 pt attempts thats impressive of itself and 0 assists btw and one of the opposing players had 70 points lol.

Well, I think you pretty much need to give the opponent a bunch of uncontested layups in order to have enough time for one player to take 108 shots. Wonder what Jimmer would have put up in Grinnell's system against DIII players.

Being allowed to shoot that much the coach must have been ejected in the first 2 minutes, and the assistant in the next 2 minutes. If not then the coach must be his mother.

Let's be honest not easy to do but if it's going to happen, it's in that system. Look at their scores they don't care to stop anyone on the other end........while it's an amazing number we also know the kid didn't guard anyonoe all game so this is not basketball!!!! It's basically a joke because a kid on the other team got 70 too..........mocking the game!!

Love Grinnell. Arsenaeult (Head Coach) is a New England guy.
They consistently score 140 points a game. Everyone has a role, and gunner is one of them.
Many of their players have scored 70+ in games.

Wouldn't mind having a shooter like that "other" kid at UConn. He went 34 for 44!

Read this on Yahoo and in the comments section, there was a comment that had me laughing.

"If Carmello shot 108 times he'd finish with 35 points"

:D

The kid is a discrace to basketball!

Actually the coach is a disgrace and made a mockery of the game. Anyone who thinks it's okay for a kid to humiliate another team just to gain a record has never played in a competitive nature. They won by 70 and he played 36 minutes?.......you're shi**in' me right? There is absolutely nothing good or right about what happened in that game, kids getting rebounds and throwing them back out so he can score. Hey you tell a kid he's going to shoot every 20 seconds and it's okay well of course he's all in........but someone, anyone has to recognize the unethical ways which this occurred.........I am sorry to say if I was the other coach and had an ounce of nuts in my sack he would've went down trying to score at some point.......

Note there is a kid on the team from Staples - Westport. I'm curious how well he scored at Staples High???
