Big Syl should really try to keep her elbows under control, doncha think?

Syl accidentally poked her in the eye with a stray finger. It was Goodlett who broke her tooth with an elbow.

so you could glout about how GREAT she is if Phx lost

I just think it would be interesting to see how how big of a point swing we would see. Phoenix would still score, but I am just curious how much Chicago's scoring increased.

Nope...trade that dead weight now while you can still get something for her. Maybe to Minnesota.

was your theory answered tonight?

In thrilled that Phoenix was able to eek out a win. I was concerned with the score tied with under a minute to go.

I think we learned that 1) the Mercury missed BG big-time tonight, and 2) the Mercury still had enough to beat the Sky - a team with a losing record in the regular season. I think we already knew that. Now on to the FIBA worlds. BG should not only make the team, she should dominate, assuming she has a healthy eye.

Congrats to Mercury and to DT for MVP

If Sylvia Fowles had the heart of Diana Taurasi she'd "kill", but BIG SYL disappeared for long stretches of this game. Even Rebecca Lobo said where is Fowles, why isn't she in the paint, she looks tired! For someone 6'6" in an athletic body Syl is beaten mentally!
The USA team would be better served by Griner, Dupree, Bonner, Charles, even a rookie like Dolson than Sylvia!
Also quite telling when E. Prince didn't play more than 1 minute of the 4th quarter, while Allie Quigley played the whole time! Trade Prince for 2 draft picks!
