Especially if Joe Barry Carroll is left off the team.

Hakeem Olajuwan is one of the 10 best players in NBA history, and was a dominant college player too. Houston should have been in the bracket.

We're likely to lose this one as "All-Time NBA Greats" generally trumps "good players who won recent NCAA championships" and we're losing All Time Greats 3-1.
 
Who cares about polls like this. UConn buried a Shaq-led LSU team in the tournament in 1991. That's the one that really counted.

LSU should win this fairly easily. Since this seems to be about just the best basketball players and not what they won in college. LSU has three of the best players ever in Maravich, Shaq, and Petit. I would put Chris Jackson on their team over Macklin.

Serious question: did Mount turn out to be that good?
I always thought of him as the forgotten one of the 3 Sports Illustrated high school cover boys, lesser than Maravich and Calvin Murphy, and then an ABA guy who wouldn't have been a big deal in NBA.

God college version of okafor vs Shaq is like my ultimate dream matchup.

Probably my favorite Uconn player vs my favorite non-Uconn player of all time.
 
Florida just took out Duke 52% - 48% on 26k votes. With less than 24 hours left, UConn - LSU matchup only has 13k votes.

Looking ahead, UConn much better team than Florida, but looks like Florida got out the votes/bots.

It should be starting 5 plus coach. I voted for UConn, and if we had JC on the sideline I think we'd win.

love the uconn lineup, but i don't like college shaq as a match-up (for anyone, really... )

on a side note, ben simmons doesn't make lsu's all-time top 5?
