Great openings to great movies...

Looked at the clips and Up absolutely was superb.

Along those lines, the opening montage of Watchmen was pretty cool.

The opening of "Once Upon A Time in the West" is an absolute classic. Three gunman waiting at a train station passing the time. Then the train arrives and all the anticipation is payed off.

Probably my favorite all time film has a great one: Heat.

Some more: The Dark Knight, All the Indy's, There Will Be Blood, The Professional, about a million more that I'll have to think about later.

I'm sure most people don't remember this movie ( I don't even know what it was about), but the opening video of California Big Sur, and the beautiful musical score, and I believe the opening to The Sandpiper could be considered GREAT.
