part 2, not really much, but what I don't understand, if the NCAA can't force parents to comply, then how would they be able to determine if she received improper benefits? No bank statements, financial records, etc, what would they have to go off, the word of an ex boyfriend?

The Blind Side demonstrated this side of the NCAA's behavior. There is a lot of seediness in amateur sports. But if that movie and this reporting is indicative of the way the NCAA conducts its investigations, then there needs to be change.
