Great movie songs with dance scenes. Great not just good.

I would concur with Gene Kelly in "Singin in the Rain"...one of the most nearly perfect scenes ever put on film. I am stunned, however, that no one mentioned the opening scene from "La La Land". I thought the film, on the whole, was overrated, but the opening scene is one of the best 'feel good' scenes in recent years.

You beat me to it. The dancing is very good in that movie. And the soundtrack is outstanding.

Very old and very good one ...

You might be even older than i. My older sister dragged me to it. To be honest, I probably liked it. Jane Powell is still alive. I saw Howard Keel live in Man of LaManchs at the old Storrowtown Theater near the Eastern States Exposition.
