Grandson Training Almost Complete

My 4 year old grandson just came running down the stairs chanting "UCann Huskies". I haven't said anything to him for hours - just happy to be chanting it. We'll work on the O instead of the A but a great start.

Two-year old granddaughter points to and touches the Husky on my game day shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, and hat. She knows it's a dog, and now I'm telling her it's a husky dog. I even said, "Jonathan" yesterday.

It's coming.

Our dog runs the weave for a bone every morning. He gets two if he fights through my wife’s pick and comes out open on the other side.

My 4 soon to be 5 year old granddaughter had practice Red's cheer before she went to the game. She was prepared

My three year old grandsons throw their hands in the air and clap as they yell UConn. But when they're watching Paw Patrol and I tease them that I'm changing the channel, they say No UConn

You all have cute stories. My 3-year-old niece said "sit down b----" during the last Creighton game.

My brother and I both plead the 5th. Her mother was less than thrilled.

My 11 year old is fully indoctrinated and convinced he wants to go to UConn. I'm now having to explain how different the academic standards are now versus when Dad attended...trying to inspire him while undercutting my academic prowess...a fine line.
