he's a pass rushing linebacker, there's no way he makes the team. best of luck though.

He was out of position on the Huskies which he described as a 4-2-5 defense. He was the swing LB/S.

He is not a pass rushing linebacker. That's by far the weakest part of his game.

Stewart really came on the last 4 or so games. He doesn't have good instincts but he can be a terror on coverage units on special teams. You don't have to be a great position player to stick. Look at Marcus Easley. He is earning quite the living as a special teams stalwart.

I could've sworn Stewart was one of the rushing linebackers for us. If I'm wrong, then good, I hope I am. As a giants fan, I hope we pick up UConn players. Best of luck to him regardless though.

he hasn't been signed yet by the Giant's but my hope is he gets signed soon, by the Giant's or someone else. He has talent to compete on the next level.

He did not make the Giants Bill but this scouting service and myself agree with you.
Graham strained a ham at the UConn pro day in the 40 thus only being able to lift for scouts that day. He took part in the Yale pro day a couple of weeks later. He comes in around 1:56 in the vid.
With a 4.55 forty, 19 bench reps, 37.5 vertical & 10+ broad jump his measurable are better than many invited to the NFL combine.
NFL Combine results 2016: Darron Lee impresses across all linebacker drills
I like yourself hope he gets a shot somewhere, if nothing else he would be very good on specials.

No spitting match here huskysupporter, just wonder how one could determine what you have watching HCBD's 4/2/5 we contain defense? He rarely allows a blitz and should one find the opportunity and proceed with out the predetermined call by BD it would be bench time. Again no malice :).

Stewart rushed the passer on occasion and it was not a success. He had no moves to speak of and was often ridden right out of pocket by tackle. Small sample, but not impressive in that phase of game.

Wish the kid the best, don't see it even with the Giants as desperate as they are at LB. Fact is he improved last year at UConn but just not more than a potential special teams guy from what I saw. Giants need some impact at that position.

Has a chance to speak briefly with Andrew Adams last week- was wishing him the best as well in Giants rookie minicamp.

Too bad. He's probably already much better in pass coverage then Herzlich.

Played much better towards end of season, but I have say he has poor instincts for angles of pursuit. Plays at 1,000 Mike's an hour, but no innate sense of where to be to make plays. He had some real doozies out there.
