Governor Malloy Won't Push For Costly XL Center Upgrades

UCONN purposely trying to destroy downtown Hartford would result in less money for UCONN due to less taxes paid by business in that area and the surround area.
UConn just built a branch campus in Hartford. How is that purposely trying to destroy Hartford? They were basically strong armed into building downtown as it was. Why is it UConn Athletics job to "save" the city of Hartford and not New Haven or Bridgeport?

Dwindling crowd sizes look worse in a huge arena like the XL
At the XL, the higher up seats are empty. At Gampel during weekday games, the lower bowl looks empty even though those seats are sold. The XL looks better on TV.

Marquee Games draw very well at XL, even though there have not been many lately. Nova and Wichita State at XL will be close to sellouts this year.

Does the casual fan have any idea abut Wichita State? A lousy Georgetown team would be a much bigger draw.

Even casual UConn fans are pretty knowledgeable. They know who the good teams are.

@SubZero I see when you get called on a false statement about UConn abandoning downtown Hartford, you just ignore and move on. That alone makes anything else you post here irrelevant.
