Jackson has three strengths at this point in his short career. Passing, dunking, and steals.I agree with you.I saw what you saw. A little surprised by his pre-Butler comments but I think he's willing to try just about anything to re-establish some positive momentum.
Says he was brought in to be a foundational player for Program turnaround. Guess they're ready to throw him "in the water" when back from injury. Time will tell.
Risk/reward conundrum. Maybe he thinks that Jackson could occasionally provide a higher two-point shooting percentage proficiency than the current team without Bouk/AA.
Passing and dunking are definite weaknesses on this team right now. Plus he’s got really good instincts, and long arms, for getting steals. So, I’d play him. Who knows, wishful thinking but maybe he can be this years Whaley.
