Happy Thanksgiving. I remember a fews years back how excited UConn Fans were when we had Tina Renee Kalana and had verbals from Maya Caroline and EDD. I made a prediction which we wont get into again LOL. Now look at this team and we've added Breanna Morgan and MJ with Saniya coming in next season. It makes me wonder if the future is brighter then we think. Not only that, but Geno is saying next seasons class of verbals will be great. There is an article that Rich Elliott wrote with a tweet from Shea mentioned something about waiting to here from another girl....maybe a recruits verbal? It just keeps getting better if your a UConn fan.

You know with all the girls who graduate that go to the WNBA and Overseas to play and make a pretty darn good living doing what the love to do and thats play BB. Pretty awesome. Then you look at UCOnn non starters who make it professionally like Keita Kaili and Ashley Battle and you think to yourself its pretty amazing what Geno and CD have built at UConn. Some call it a BB factory. Well its a pretty good BB factory when you breed success on the court and after college. Gotta wonder what the average or median income of former UConn Womens BB players is compared to other colleges.

Basketball factory, eh? what else are they supposed to learn when they are on scholarship for...uhhh...oh, yeah, {{{{BASKETBALL}}}}!!!?

Seriously, that comment is just sheer jealously. The entire length of the pine is well trained to play smart, beautiful basketball, no matter if they start or they are the clean up crew. The success of this team speaks for itself, and any who make such a comment - "basketball factory" - are simply being obvious in their envy.

Totally agree RadyLady, UCONN is not a "basketball factory", as you nicely stated, and anyone who thinks that is simply obvious in their envy. Our young ladies are not only very talented basketball players, but are outstanding academic students.

Amen, Tony, and kudos to Geno, CD and the staff for educating "our Girls" about life and how to live it as mature, considerate adults (in addition to being the best team mates and basketball players on the planet). It is great to see how well they do in the world after they leave Husky land.

Calling UConn a basketball factory is like calling Santa's elves a toy factory. Non-believers can't accept the magic.
