Reality is that teams got (wrongfully) scared off by his poor shooting numbers this past season. Shooting was supposed to be his biggest strength coming into college and he left a lot to be desired in that department, though he ended up being great overall. He's a dog and he'll only get better and better.

While I have said Liam should have stayed another year and likely be a top 10 pick, I have also said that was never going to happen from day 1.
The thing that I will always admire the most about Liam is his competitiveness and his love for the game. Two great qualities for a talented player to have.
We can say what we want about Charlotte but when a team trades for a drafted player draft night, it usually means they really want him.
