Just a dogfight, these games are crazy frustrating. Be proud that Sanders and Kilpatrick knocked down those 3s when it counted.

Why can't we press like them? Do we just choose not to? That press was killer.

For some reason, our guards struggle a little against it. But it was particularly effective because it wasn't consistent. A very smart coaching move by Cronin.
 
We should have closed it out with more breathing room, your press messed us up and Kilpatrick is almost always going to make that, wild finish. You guys are a handful, good luck in the NCAA's.

It was a great game. Did the conference proud. UConn played great D. Cincy still won the conference so a great season. And they usually lose like this in the Big Dance. Hopefully the got it out of their system. The real season starts next week.
 
I like this Cincy team and sure as hell would be pulling for them against UL had they won tonight. I hope that all the AAC fans in Memphis can get behind us and push us over Louisville. I want Louisville to lose more than I want UConn to win, if that makes any sense.
 
Oh yeah Cronin is a really good coach. Ollie and Cronin are going to be great for a long time.

our guards do an awful job handling the press so its not too surprising that the Cincy press was effective
 
So we effectively "lose" a 50/50 coin flip and have to play UConn rather than Houston. Then, Kilpatrick misses an 80/20 shot to lose the game. Eventually something will break right....I think...
 
These two teams know each other to well and have similar styles. That's why most every game is like this. That's why they play Cincy so tough too. Cincy usually does better against teams that have never seen this before. Hopefully that bears out in the Tourney.

Great game tonight...reminded me of an Old Big East Battle...Both Teams were contesting every shot, nothing easy. Best of Luck, we will be pulling for you guys!
 
Great game, competitive with drama. Games like this is what the BE Tourney used to be. I think Memphis, SMU and Houston have a taste of our days past. Kilpartrick's miss was our 'first' miracle.
