Alot of concerns on the board and alot of non UConn fans thinking Duke would win. Well just to show you how good this team is with Stef in foul trouble and Tiff hurt and lets not forget averaging over 30pts a game the past 2 games we win handlely. How many teams could do that?

A couple of things I noticed. One we have a tendency to shot to quickly. KML was that way tonight. Caroline hit 3 great shots and had time to set up. We need to take a second before we launch it. If we cant then we shouldnt shoot it. Tiff seems to have gotten that. Kiah terrific game and we could see it coming. Stef and Kiah on the floor at the same time is gonna be an exhibition. Next season it will be ridiculous.

Good win Good Game now we need a little more poise when shooting from deep. Our defense once again won us this game. Im not sure where Duke will be ranked next week but IMO they are a top 5 team. Duke is a very talented team with alot of potential but they need to learn to play defense and they will has they grow and mature.

I'd say Duke is lucky they have players like Gray and Williams, who seem to have an idea of how to work together. I am not at all impressed with their offensive sets. Had UConn hit a few more of those shots that typically go in that could have been a 25+ margin.

Wonder if Williams and Gray will actually develop? McCallie doesn't seem to know what to do with talented (or untalented, for that matter) offensive players...

Good win. Not, necessarily a good game. Duke did everything defensively they had to do to give themselves a fighter's chance. But, alas, they are still extremely offense-challenged. You've got to land a few jabs. Throw 69 punches and land just 17 of them is not going to look favorable on the judges scorecard.

A team that can win games like this against a top team when its offense is not clicking on all cylinders is a very dangerous team. UConn, right now, is a dangerous team.

Good? They're......

Personally I didn't think we played that well. At least offensively. Defensively we were great (and/or Duke was terrible offensively). We made a lot of really, really, silly mistakes. Like we lost our heads. Geno is gonna have plenty of things to work on.

Not so sure Tiffany should have come back in either. She really seemed out of it after she banged heads.

However, a win is a win. And an away win is a good win. But we didn't play very well.

That was another predicted loss by you, correct my friend?

A friend would take little pleasure in rubbing salt into a wound. It just goes to show, though, how much better UConn is than I could have imagined. As good as Duke might be in the next couple of years, this year is pretty much the only shot they were going to get at beating UConn because UConn is going to be tremendous.

UConn this year is much better than forecasted in the preseason. It's opponents save Baylor and Notre Dame are flat out disappointing. Of the predicted losses, Stanford still concerns becasue they have a bona fide superstar capable of taking over a big game. But, that is way down the line. Shorter term, I have to figure out a way to get some of you guys together so that I can happily pay off the bets. And, will also make a charitable contribution, terms to be discussed later(That was a great idea).

Wow...are you really that sensative?

You have a limited imagination if you couldn't imagine them this good.

I couldn't agree more!!!

Not by all.

But predictable. UConn has something to do with their performances.

Of the predicted losses, Stanford still concerns becasue they have a bona fide superstar capable of taking over a big game.

Stanford is a very good team.

How did I miss out on the bets???

Plus Stanford will not have had great competition between now and anytime we might play again. It is hard to gauge oneself and improve steadily without good competition.

Doggydaddy, you were very much in on the bets. It was you who suggested the charitable contribution wager.

I think I was since I believed in 2-4 including the tournament. But don't worry about it because I think you were prepaid with the great tap videos. ;-)
