UConn was beyond dominant tonight. The inconsistent backcourt from Gonzaga really caught up to them tonight. The 2 airballed 3s in the first minutes also seemed to rattle them a bit from the perimeter which carried throughout the game.

Sanogo's intelligence and blossoming skill set to make those passes out of the doubles was huge. UConn was pretty cold from the perimeter early too but they were getting easy buckets from passing. Gonzaga couldn't get real easy looks ever.

The 4th foul on Timme was questionable but the dumb play by him to charge for a cheap 3rd that early in the half was really the difference.

I certainly hoped for a better game, but this Connecticut team right now is so locked in and has so many options that if one or two guys are struggling Hurley can just plug in another option and go. Saw my first live UConn national championship in Houston in 2011 so can't wait to go back this weekend!
It wasn’t questionable at all. It was a foul. Worse than a few on Clingan and Karaban for sure.

Unreal, unfriggin' real, everything Hurley said about this team was true. The Big East refs, the pressure of the first round, the 3 killer road Big East games to start the Big East slate etc.

He said they were going to let it rip when they got out of Albany. Holy hell, 40 more minutes and then another 40.
40+40 equals 80. 80 more f^cking minutes.

I appreciate Timmie for admitting the refs weren’t targeting him. But he still did a lot of frustrating ref baiting when the game was still in reach, so for that, I don’t feel bad about ending his college career.

Let's be honest. Gonzaga absolutely sucked tonight. We were very good, and they were horrendously bad, especially in the 2nd half. You don't win by 30 against a strong team without a little of column A and a little of column B.

Wowza were they bad. They made a couple floaters in the first half and they were like "Lets shoot 100 floaters in the paint over Clingan and Karaban and Jackson." "Lets brick 2/20 on 3's." Yikes!

We probably win by 12 if they play better, but holy schnikes. That was the worst game I've seen a good team play in as long as I can remember. Our defense had a little bit to do with it, but I didn't even think it was our best defensive game of the tournament.
Yeah UConn isn’t 32 points better than Gonzaga. No team is as bad as they are when they get blown out and no team is as good as they are when they blow out others.

having said all of that UConn deserves to relish in the glory. The players have put in so much hard work and fought through adversity.

Watched at my local bar again, guy is sitting next to me caring about the K State game, I can tell he has a significant amount of money on K State. He loses. He tells me he's been banned from the local casinos. Our game starts and he says everything is on Gonzaga now. My UConn friend just walked in and I point to my hat. He left at halftime and we get our tab. Dude paid for it, he knew it wasn't his night and left paying our tab without saying a word. Class.

I thought UConn was a Final Four team early on. I love being right. Of course I also love people having short memories about what I said after they were 14-3. We need to kill that noise about Hurley not being able to make adjustments to win games. Adjusted out of this team to the point that we are in the Final Four and favored to take it all. This team is gelling so well and making opponents play our game. Talk of depth is so far beyond hyperbole at this point. Need to go take it next week. Go Huskies!

Bobby Hurley is on the court celebrating a UConn birth in the final four. Let that settle in.
Yeah, considering he was on that 1990 team that ended our dream season, that is some sweet, SWEET revenge right there!!!

1967 UCLA went 30-0 undefeated with Kareem and 1999 Duke is considered the best team to not win a title (and by many the best team of the last 30 years even without the title). It's incredible company.

Who considers the 1999 Duke team the best to not win the championship? That team is the 1991 UNLV Running Rebels. That team was so dominant that the only reasonable explanation for why they didn’t win is that a few key players were point shaving and the game got away from them.

Clingan got called for some phantom fouls but man he had a clutch game. Just about everybody did. I have no idea how Sanogo is even running the court without cramping up. We, must have some insane nutritionist keeping him going.
The freshman disrespect on Clingan is astounding. When the offensive player initiates the contact , it is not a defensive foul. Refs need to account for the fact that he is just HUGE

Yeah, the refs went through a brief stretch where they were calling phantom fouls on UCONN just because they thought it was impossible to dominate a team like that.
