Does our big east fellow have a shot at the upset verse the undefeated Gonzaga?

I think this Creighton team plays better defense than people think- my major concern is Creighton’s depth- really only play 6 impact players. With that said, I do believe Gonzaga is beatable- although their guards are tough & grind- their bigs look soft- I actually think they should be playing the big Watson more- he brings toughness & a physicality that the other bigs don’t.

I saw way too many straight line penetrations to the basket by a short handed Oklahoma team last week that gives me concern about Gonzaga.
I think this game might be closer than what the public thinks- especially if Creighton can stay out of foul trouble.

Oregon would have a better chance to upset gonzaga in the elite 8. Creighton will need to have the best shooting night of their season if they want to keep up with the zags

I like Creighton's chances to pull an upset simply because of their composition and demeanor. They have a workmanlike professionalism that may enable them to pull the upset. Won't be easy, and certainly not an assured victory, but I would not write them off. Should be a fun game to watch.

I'm rooting for Gonzaga. In any sport I always root against my peers.

The Zags haven’t played a decent team since when? December? January? Don’t be shocked if this one is closer than it should be. But the Zags supposedly have 3 All Americans, so on paper this should be a 15 point plus win.

I think the key for Creighton if they want to stay in the game they need to do their best to stay out of foul trouble & to keep the run out layups to a minimum.

Gonzaga is really, really good.

I think Creighton has a respectable showing, but this game will probably be played in the 7-13 point range and never really in doubt in the second half.

Line is Zags -13 currently. You should call your bookie!

Think the Zags are too good and too deep for Creighton, although I think Creighton will put up a good fight for awhile.

It will probably be similar to the Nova/Baylor game last night. Creighton will stick around for a bit and give people some false hope but Gonzaga will pull away at the end of the game. Probably end up being around a 10 point win for the Zags.

I mean, that's basically where I expect it to end up. Usually there's a little inflation at the end when the losing team gives up.

The women's game yesterday was played in an 8-14 point range for most of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarters, until the last 5 minutes when we put them away and the margin finished at 20.

It’s time for the Zags to prove they’re human. Creighton in a squeaker. I always root against the Zags. Have never been a fan of Mark Few, as good of a coach as he may be. Edit: I know, they don’t have a prayer.

Creighton hasn't been scoring as easily in the half court this year as last year. I just don't see them scoring enough to hang with the Zags.

The first two minutes have been an ominous sign for Creighton...

Creighton should be able to handle Suggs. Bouk prepared them. Also Creighton is in attack mode to the rim, should create foul problems for the Zag bigs.

As I said on the first post- Gonzaga D not good- straight line penetration all day for Creighton.

Creighton doing a great job getting to the basket. See if Few adjusts.

I’ve got the Zags ML in a parlay today.

Oregon +2 and Florida St +2 as well.

I'm not sure about Creighton getting blown out at this point. It'll be a tough one but may be one of those games where the Zags pull away late.
