Save for that flagrant foul, the refs are just an easy scapegoat. The players are making this unwatchable, not the refs. Just brutal basketball.

It's not a one or another situation - the refs and players have both sucked.

It was ugly because Calhoun intentionally coached it to be ugly. He gameplanned to beat Brad Stevens at his own game and ended up taking him behind the woodshed in doing so.

My memory may be failing me but my recollection was that the first half was brutally bad but the 2nd was OK.
