I knew nothing about the book or the movie going into the theater which is always the best way to view a film. Won't spoil it for anyone else by discussing plot, I did thoroughly enjoy it.

Same here. Good movie.

My brother was saying he's not getting married after the movie. My feminist sister further traumatized her own husband by taking him to the movie on his own birthday.

If the movie ending is anything like the book's ending, I won't be wasting 2 hours of my life watching it.

I saw it with the Mrs.

It's like a Lifetime Network movie with bigger stars.

Never read the book.

Very good movie -- but the ending REALLY sucked.

.-.
I must admit, long and drawn out for a crappy ending. I keep waiting for stuff to happen and it never did get there. Just taped it on HBO not awful I guess but not what I expected.

I saw it in the theatre months ago or whenever it was out. I was into it for the first 2 hours or so.... then.....the ending

I seriously don't ever remember leaving a movie theatre legitimately angry before.

Sure, we have all sat through plenty of terrible movies, but hey, there are just some bad movies, no big deal.

This was different. This was a very good movie, with clever twists, good acting, etc... and then nothing.

This was exactly my experience. The ending really screws up a good flick.

I don't know, I thought the ending was fine. No Country For Old Men, now there was an anger-inducing ending.

That was more like a stop than an ending. Same with "The Master".
