Chief, what does the fact that Boatright is black, have to do with any of this? Why play the race card here?
Yep, wondering that, too. And, "an 18 year old ..kid." Aren't almost all freshman that?

If RB was a white kid and Chief used the word white twice to describe him would that have bothered you? Address the issue, the arguements over petty BS on here are astounding. It's the powerful slapping down the powerless. NCAA vs Kirk King comes to mind. High minded eggheads permanently taking away things from students that have commited miner infractions. No one at the NCAA heard about the police investigation at PSU in 1998? Tarkanian shouldn't have allowed them to settle. The BCS Bowl scandals with the money/political spending/prostitutes that were revealed about the Feista Bowl? Roast their hypocritical butts over the coals.

Better stated than I stated it - "It's the powerful slapping down the powerless".........I never should have said "18 year old black kid from Chicago", which to me sort of said that.....however it side track many from the thrust of my point - which any mention of race often does.

I suggest we start a fund to discredit these pompous bastards. We hire someone to dig up the dirt. That would be awesome. As they know there's nothing more fun than making someones life miserable.

I'm not absolutely convinced. I say we start a collection and hire two investigators to see if they can find dirt on current Duke and Kentucky recruits and if they do find something they submit it to the NCAA. Then let's observe how the NCAA deals with these storied programs. If they don't handle things the way we perceive UConn is being singled out, then Chief has a valid complaint. Otherwise it is just a conspiracy theory.

Duke should have had their 1999 tourney wins vacated a long time ago, but that would have thrown a wrench in the NCAA's selective enforcement policy.

Well Yes, if Chief had kept mentioning "white" it would have raised same issue with me, sounds like you have issues.
