He's coming off a relatively major injury. I'm sure he would rather get that behind him and prove it hasn't effected his play before trying to play professionally. Plus if he's not making the NBA the overseas opportunities during the pandemic are probably limited and uncertain. Same reason Whaley is probably coming back. I'm sure I'm not saying anything that hasn't been brought up already.
