Well I don’t really see how another year helps him... if after 4 years he wasn’t on anyone’s NBA radar I fail to see how a 5th year is going to change that but who knows..... maybe he’ll make the nba as a 5th year senior 🤷♂️
Yeah I don’t think it helps his NBA case either. But it gives him time to recover from injury, work towards a free masters degree, and even strengthen his case for a G-league or overseas deal after rehabbing the knee. I’m sure he feels a sense of unfinished business after this season as well. There’s lots of positives. Feels like NBA isn’t one of them at this point, but you never know. I guess we will see how he does next season.

He's coming off a relatively major injury. I'm sure he would rather get that behind him and prove it hasn't effected his play before trying to play professionally. Plus if he's not making the NBA the overseas opportunities during the pandemic are probably limited and uncertain. Same reason Whaley is probably coming back. I'm sure I'm not saying anything that hasn't been brought up already.
