Vital should be the starter for numerous reasons I have already outlined. It's all about fit. Vital is a winning player and is the only reliable catch and shoot guy we have not to mention a very reliable defensive presence on the court.

I like Vital a lot, but I have to disagree. Gilbert would help stop those long stretches of no offense we were so prone to last yr. The guy is a playmaker. We need more playmakers. Vital will play plenty.

I do think vital starts at first, just because of experience. And he played extremely well the end of last year.

But I bet AG gets 25mpg and finishes games.

With the caveat that I'm wrong about everything, I feel the same way. I don't know how good this team is going to be, but I think they're going to be better than anticipated. And as much as I liked the departing seniors as people, it'll be a little bit like pushing the reset button in terms of the energy of the squad as well.
