Hey, let's get rid of Collins, Rogers-Cromartie, Snacks Harrison, Olivier Vernon, Eli Apple, Wynn, Pierre-Paul, … that will improve our defense, and Odell Beckham, he's too good to keep and too much fun to watch, let's dump him too.

Right, because they were gangbusters with those guys?

Play calling was terrible. They called like 4 screens to Barkley on 3rd down. Dallas was expecting all 4. Definition of insanity...

My favorite part of the game is when they dump it to Saquon down 25 in the 4th quarter on check downs.

They need to be smart about his usage.

Good: 3rd and 2 or 4th and 2nd with the game still in hand.

Bad: Blow outs.

they were 11-5 with those guys in 2016, 2017 injuries disrupted, and 2018 isn't comparable because they dumped guys, changed the scheme, and played Collins out of position at strong safety. So yes they did just fine with that core group relative to what they have kept.

I’m starting to think Mara doesn’t know about football/personnel. The people Wellington put in place got them to 4 SB victories. But since John has started making decisions.....

Three years ago is a long time in the NFL. They weren't good and it was time to clean house. Do I agree with all of Gettlemans moves? No. But I'm not losing sleep over the core of a team that made the playoffs 1 time in 7 seasons.

FYI, we've got a long thread of Giants self-loathing on the Pro Sports Board, feel free to join us in the misery!

I’m not a Giants fan by any stretch. But you have the best and probably toughest RB in the league. How do you not run him in those short yardage situations?? Who cares if the other team knows it’s coming. He’s gonna fight like hell to get that yard. I found it mind-boggling.

I am also a Mets fan. At least they didn’t decide to break up that pitching staff in a trade for Bobby Bonilla. But Ricker is right they let go a lot and seem to have gotten a lot less in return. They also have to scheit or get off the pot with Jones

Eli needs to be taken in the backyard and put down like an old family dog.

There were a few no calls that the Cowboys got away with. Eli didn't look bad at all, but it wont be long before the rookie starts

Can't believe there's this many people who look at this Giants team and think they should have kept trying to win. But apparently those fans are the only ones Mara and Gettleman talk to

Giants and Uconn are the only teams in the world who can't convert a 3rd and 1 they look around and act like a 3rd and 1 is a climb up a mountain.

Eli is the least of the Giants problems. He played well. Daniel Jones is not the answer.

I agree Eli is the least of the G-men problem. I like Jones, however,I agree again, he is not the answer.
The Cowboy's OL did great. Gave Shepard an eternity to throw the ball. He torched the secondary. Even though he had time, the secondary was clueless. Just horrible. Giants defense didn't do bad at all against the run. It was late in the second half when the run kicked in. For years now Giants have always been burnt on slant passes. Linebackers?
