any Yarders going to GHPA @ Crosby Weds.? County Line Nissan (Gomes and Waterbury guys) vs Hot 93.7 play game 1 of best of 3 finals starting Weds night @ 8:30.

Perhaps more interesting to me and my fellow recruitniks, they are having a high school showcase game @ 6pm featuring 22 players.

I would think Tremont Waters, Mustapha Heron, Steve Enoch among others are all possibilities to play although no names given in this article:

Here are the rosters I saw the other day:

I'll be at both games. Looking forward to it.

They get a little crazy with the "D1" prospect thing on that roster list. As a Meriden/Maloney guy I saw Rumley play a few times last year and while he is a very nice HS player, strong athletic to the rim kinda kid, at 5'10" and not a good shooter, he will more than likely be a D2 or 3 prospect. There is a year to improve but even then I son't see it. Good kid though and Maloney will be very good led by his play!

thanks Hooper and 3Uconn for the rosters.

re: Mustapha Heron, I heard he tweaked his knee playing in the GHPA over the weekend. have to believe that is the reason he is not playing.

Look out for Keandre Fair kid has a smooth game. Allstate 2 years in a row and he's only going into his Junior yr

I'm at the game as well..and of course Enoch is a no show. Waters not here either

I thoroughly enjoyed the game despite Enoch not being there. Lots of young talent on display and at least a handful that will play high D1 ball.
Some thoughts on kids who stood out to me:

Jared Wilson-Frame: tremendously strong kid with a nice overall game. NBA body and then some. Not sold on his outside shot, but he seems to do everything else pretty well. Great size for a combo guard at a legit 6'4" to 6'5"

Arkel Ager-Lamar: the MVP of the game. Great finisher and nice stroke from outside. Only negative seems to be a bit too much trash talking. As a 2016 kid, he should get some interest from some big name schools.

Tyrique Jones: solid, poised big man who has legit size to play the 4 in college. Very efficient and fundamentally sound. Could be a star in a league like the A10.

Elijah Pemberton: exciting guard who goes to the hole very well. Could be a high D1 player.

Sam I: Huge kid with a great motor. Very high ceiling, but young and raw. Will be very interesting to see how he develops.
