From the USC message board this morning. (USC is another possible landing spot for GG)

"It is being tweeted that Goestenkors is back in negotiations with OSU after they failed to get Louisville's HC. This may explain the delay in announcing our HC. "

So the revolving negotiating door continues.....

I actually like this for her, it's not a tough place to recruit like Texas was, and if I recall she had very good luck at recruiting on the East coast, and mid-west. I like this hire.

How is Texas a tough place to recruit?

Not necessarily tough for someone with ties to their AAU scene, or someone with deep southern roots, but she grew up in Michigan, attended college in Michigan, and coached at Iowa State, Purdue and Duke. She really had no personal ties or experience in Texas or the south. I'm guessing Coler meant that recruiting in Texas was tough for GG, not tough necessarily in general. Mulkey and Blair have done pretty well there.

.-.
Per a tweet I read, Cynthia Cooper to USC

That would tend to support the validity of GG to TOSU...wonder if this all happened too fast for Walz to cash in...?

I loved Coop while in Houston...she was absolutely dominant in the games I attended...

Walz can cash in on where he earned the cash, with a second trip to the NC game. No one can say it was just Angel any more.

That's true of me...except road games when I like the blue players.
Well at least you are honest about it!

.-.
Walz has repeatedly said he's not going anywhere. I think he's there until/if they don't want him anymore. Ville in the ACC now.

Not true. He said he's going to work in Geno's restaurant.
