No free throws for first 34 minutes of game. I rest my case your honor. Karaban was without question in shooting motion with 4 seconds left in first half
Karaban also knew the clock was running out! For sure it was a shot which he often puts up as a floater.

Loved watching Mullins perform last night. I hope he is ready for tonight. It won’t be the same. Pitino will have a game plan drawn up to do everything he can to limit his ability to get it done. It’s going to take a big time team effort to beat
these guys. Can’t wait.

Reed being able to dish more readily is a huge development.
Totally agree, Early in the season it felt like every touch was an adventure, but now he’s reading the floor so much better and moving the ball without forcing things. The willingness to dish it out instead of trying to do too much has been a huge step forward. Love seeing that growth.

Press conference was great to listen to. Boys seem grounded, bought in. Really interesting seeing Hurley expound again on Reibes handlers. Talking about how they need to buy into patience and then making a point to say Eric himself is a great kid to coach. Clearly some friction between him and reibes team

Most players catch the ball before shooting, Alex must be unique in that he can shoot without the ball

That Braylon kid is pretty good, huh?

Isaiah Abraham blocked him on the first possession and then stared him down. Sorry bud but Braylon doesn’t get scared. Finished with 21. Abraham with 2

Silas was an absolute menace. Elite defense, crashing the glass, setting guys up, and his shot started falling late

The team defense was excellent. tbh, nobody (except Silas) played particularly good 1 on 1 defense. But the help defense and rotations were on point all game

Ross 2 big threes. Reibe nice rolls and finishes. Reed on triple double watch. Gooooood signs

Bring on St Johns!

I was at the game and must say I didn’t see that at all. Think people need to get past the “everyone is out to get us” mantra. First off, it’s not true. And secondly, it’s just lame.
It's not what they call, it's what they don't call. We basically can't run our offense in this league with all the grabbing and holding, especially off the ball.

The block by Abraham came with 1 second on the shot clock.

And officially put Abraham on the list of “UConn transfers we didn’t miss having”

Watch to the end

Millender couldn't just leave it.😁

Like a man who counts and recounts his haiku, and those of others, because little things make a difference.

I thought the press conference showed a mature, grounded group that’s clearly bought in.
It was interesting hearing Dan Hurley talk about patience and development around Reibe that felt directed at everyone involved, including his handlers, about trusting the process.
And when Eric chose UConn, his circle had to know he was stepping into a situation with Reed already established as the starting center. That’s part of joining a top program, you develop and earn your role. Nothing personal, just expectations and timing.

What’s the saying…..if ain’t broke, don’t try to fix it? Ross is excelling in his role. Why change that now? Anytime he tries to do to much, it rarely ends well. When he just plays and doesn’t overthink or force he is disruptive. You start Solo, you bring Eoss off the bench. Hurley is handling this perfectly.
Solo’s leash is getting shorter, Ross’s minutes are increasing. Keep it like this.

OCD?

Early on in this nil clusterfun, Ben Renshaw and others started Bleeding Blue for Good. It's a shame they had to shut down. It was the best idea since sliced bread.

are tickets good for both sessions or do they have to clear out Madison Square Garden when the first game is done?
The semis is one ticket for both games, on Thursday there are two tickets for two games each and they do clear out the building in between sessions
