He summed up the thoughts of fans of both teams in attendance, so he should get the award on their board too.You got my vote for boneyarder of the day!
He’s not taking any easy ones. I’d like to see him make a few pullup jumpers.Another thing on the fix list is Newton making 3s. He hasn't made 1 in the last 4 games if I recall correctly
It’s because he’s friends with the media and some fans buy into narratives easily. He was good for a providence level program, he did nothing that warranted a Georgetown level promotion. If Ed Cooley is such a good coach, why do we seem to spend so much time arguing about it? Shouldn’t it be obvious if someone is good? It isn’t.
It’s all relative…..:that’s pretty much the ceiling at Providence3 tourney wins in 12 seasons is far from a "great job". Would you want him as UConn's Head Coach? I didn't think so.
Johnson looked good. On a day that Clingan didnt score much we have plenty of offensive options. Alex healed! That’s the most important thing really.

LOL. Ha haIf the UConn players said it to Georgetown players who didn't play in the game, their complement would be very appropriate.
Ok fair next time I’ll do it in the post game thread. ThnxNot everything needs its own thread.
Silly. There were plenty on this board questioning DH during his first few years here.If Ed Cooley is such a good coach, why do we seem to spend so much time arguing about it? Shouldn’t it be obvious if someone is good? It isn’t.
On what planet if Georgetown a promotion. They have been bad to horrible for almost 20 years and good but not great for 40. Georgetown got more mileage out of a 4 year run with 1 championship than most schools do in their history. They don’t even belong on the same page as UConn. But compare them with someplace like Syracuse who has been to the Final Four every decade since the 70s and they fall short. It’s because he’s friends with the media and some fans buy into narratives easily. Well most of the crowd was UConn fans so yeah. It was a legit UConn home game with chants and all lolNice win. Probably biggest home crowd for Georgetown this season.

His right hand seemed to be even more heavily wrapped than it was last time i saw it. Not sure what's going on there. Hopefully it heals up soon.Another thing on the fix list is Newton making 3s. He hasn't made 1 in the last 4 games if I recall correctly
They’d probably be happy with 3 conference wins against teams not named DePaul in the next 12 years.I suppose Hoya fans might be happy with three tourament wins in 12 years at this point
SJ playing close but losing a lot.Makes what Pitino has done at St. Johns’s this year more impressive when you compare to the disaster of a season Cooley has had at Georgetown. He will get a few years to right the ship but I didn’t think they’d be this awful.
