Pretty much a crap game. Nice to escape. Missed FT's down the stretch, Ball, Karaban and Mullins missing almost everything from 3 (3-19 in total), and nothing came easy. Credit to Georgetown.

Could be worse - we could be Seton Hall fans today. Even Iowa State is down 9 to lowly Cinci in the first half.

We barely beat an awful team. Down right pitiful performance overall. Our offense looks broken and so do our shooters. Judging from this game, we don’t belong in the top 10. We can’t cover a spread to save our lives.Figure it out Hurley!

What was the deal with not correcting the clock upon initial review, letting Mullins take one free throw, then delaying the game again to make the obviously necessary correction? Iced him out of the second one if you ask me…

Offense has been completely disjointed at times and we really need Ball to kick back into gear. I’ve accepted his regression in the 3, but he needs to keep making plays, getting to the bucket and all

A win is a win, I guess. Props to Cooley for keeping his team right there despite a huge deficit in overall talent. Free throw shooting needs attention, I fully expect that to be addressed immediately, meaning UConn wont shoot this poorly from the line for the rest of the season.

Solo’s D had me fuming. He just does not move laterally on defense. If you do that, you shut off paths to the basket. It’s weird. He can clearly move on offense, but on D? It’s like his shoelaces are tied together.

I remember when we beat Nova in 21/22 and it finally had that feeling of “wow, we are back”. We crawled out of the basement, a time when we were accustomed to losing to SMU and Tulsa by 20.

Now, we are the team that the rest of the Big East uses as a metric of “beat them and we are making serious progress”.

A win is a win is a win, and what a time it is to be a Husky.
