C'mon Hoyas, only 4:42 left. Gotta hold on.

Poor Fresno State is losing its poise at the end of the game. They played well, though, kudos to them.

Gtown not shooting their FTs too well here at the end......at all......

Fresno State can't stand the heat, melts down in kitchen. Too bad, right up until the end they showed a lot of moxie.

Georgetown didn't play with a ton of poise themselves. Surprising for a senior-laden team.

Sloppy finish for both teams. TO's for Fresno, missed free throws and bunnies for GTOWN.

Hoyas survive, but really looked bad down the stretch. I don't expect them to win another game.

Because they play is if they are OWED the win for being Georgetown, Seniors, Big East, etc. rather than playing their hearts out or with something to prove like they did last year when they suprised teams. It's not so easy being the favored team, for certain teams...they can't handle the responsibilities that come along with it. Georgetown players attitudes (swagger/confidence/chip-on-shoulder) help when they're the underdogs, but hurts them when they're the favorite. Favored teams still have to show up and actually execute in order to WIN the game. They would have lost today's game had they had say Marist as their opponent. Won't be suprised if they defeat Ga Tech (if that's the match-up) b/c again they will be the underdogs.

?? I didn't see anything like that at all. The Hoyas had a pretty decent lead for most of the game but both teams lost their poise towards the end. G'town missed some FTs and layups that they'd normally make but I think that was partly due to the fact Fresno State continued to play hard. They did win, but they had to work to get the game because Fresno State sure didn't give it to them.

I didn't mean just this game. I meant all season. There is NO reason for them to have lost as many games as they did this season especially being such a Senior-led team. None of them worked on their offense in the off-season (or at least it didn't translate into offense during season). IMO, they just play very uninspired basketball. Was way more impressed by them last season.
