Not good news at all! I assumed that Westbrook was just getting a simple scope(arthroscopy) to clean out her knee. A micro-fracture surgery is a far more intensive procedure! It is the same surgery that Morgan Tuck and Dustin Pedroia had. It is a cartilage restoration surgery that is usually performed on people with chronic knee issues and bone on bone contact in the knee. There is NO way that Westbrook will be ready by the start of the season(if she gets a waiver).

Great interview, great line. I've had a month or so to re-program my brain to stop associating her with "inside of the pumpkin" orange. Things are coming along nicely. This snippet helps.
