Great question. Geno mentioned before 2 top 5 recruits next season (in 2024) and we know only of Allie Z. so the mystery remains...Who’s coming next year and the year after? I know about Allie and Kelis, but who else is he hinting at? Sarah? Kate? Adhel? Toby?
I think the odds are good that Geno will land Sarah. He’s the best WBB coach in the business, and her mom allegedly works for the Boston Celtics, so she would be able to drive to Storrs to see Sarah’s games.Bone Dog said:

........But in the meantime.........I just love Coach Geno. The man is approaching 70 but he still has that competitive fire left in him. He has had and experienced it all but yet still wants to prove himself and UCONN. It will be a SAD day in all of sports when he decides to hang it up.........

Fingers crossed that he's dipping into the Lithuanian talent pool.

Geno has lit the candle. Now we're going to spend the next 7 months trying to figure out who are the un-named recruits he referred to.Great question. Geno mentioned before 2 top 5 recruits next season (in 2024) and we know only of Allie Z. so the mystery remains...
He is also well versed on NCAA rules on saying anything about a recruit before the LOI has been signed.Love the way he teases we fans. Always keeping us on the edge of our seats wanting more info!!!
Bigs that can perform at high level and shovel ready.Hey Geno - we need more Bigs and athletic/faster recruits! That's what better be coming!
That goes without saying. He is also well versed on NCAA rules on saying anything about a recruit before the LOI has been signed.
If only she could shoot! Maybe she’s working on that and will be KML with hops!Whoever gets Toby Fournier I think is gonna get a potentially transcendent player in the women's game. Her dunking ability at just 6'2 is amazing.

UConn needs to recruit her harder than anyone else in that class imo
I think Geno has already received “silent” verbals from several coveted recruits in the ‘24 and ‘25 classes. Until those recruits publically declare, we won’t hear or know anything.Interviews with Geno are always great listening.

Recruits have various reasons for the timing of their reveal. Geno seem to be happy with who he has in the pipeline, so I guess we can too.
I am bookmarking Carnac's post for future reference. It's unlikely there is a silent recruit for 2025 at the moment. Geno's comments point to someone in 2024.

2023 - And if you see who we recruited this year,
2024 - and once you find out who's coming next year
2025 - and the following year,
we're not going anywhere."
I've never used "the following year" to describe the upcoming year. Even without "next year" I would assume the "following year" means the year after next. Differentiating between this year and next year doesn't make much sense with out I use the english language personally. Its also worth noting the Geno specifically uses pauses in places of "and" quite frequently when speaking. The problem is that last "and" before "following year" was never spoken by Geno. It was misattributed to him by Maggie Vanoni.
Geno said, Once you find out who's coming next year...the following year...
I'm about 100% certain he was differentiating between "this" year ('23) and "next year" ('24).
